How To Choose The Right LOWA Insole For Your LOWA Boots

How Do LOWA Insoles Work?

LOWA insoles are specifically designed with a balance footbed and a breathable top layer with slow reacting foam providing fit customisation. LOWA insoles aid the transportation of moisture away from the foot. The LOWA insole range minimises friction and reduces fatigue in conjunction with LOWA's own patented climate control system.

There are other brands of insole and replacement footbeds also available and we have on our website some of the Superfeet range. I wore them in conjunction with my Lowa boots during my military career. The modern military has a wider range of boots for different tasks, weather and countries and replacing insoles can only enhance the ability of the individual.

The three main components to Superfeet insoles:

  1. Structured heel cup: Encapsulates and positions the soft tissue under the heel, maximising natural shock absorption.
  2. Rearfoot support: The support you feel towards the back of your arch and the front of your heel is the distinct Superfeet Insole shape, stabilizing the rear foot.
  3. Firm stabilisation: Lightweight, durable closed-cell foam layer delivers long-lasting comfort and a stabilizer cap combine to make the supportive shape that Superfeet Insoles are renowned for.
