When used in LOWA Boots, Cambrelle® lining adds superior comfort and performance to hard-working footwear such as military, safety or hiking boots. The bicomponent makeup of the Cambrelle® lining is capable of absorbing up to three and a half times its own weight in moisture, effectively dispersing this away from the foot. This allows the wearer to remain cool and dry in even the most extreme conditions. There are also moisture management properties within LOWA Boots featuring GORE-TEX® linings, however, this material does not let any moisture in, whereas Cambrelle® lining disperses any moisture absorbed to be released into the environment once the wearer has removed the footwear. This allows for potentially quicker drying times in comparison.
LOWA Boots featuring Cambrelle® lining also provides superior comfort for the wearer within any environment. The abrasion resistant properties adapt to different types of motion, whether this is hiking up mountains or marching out on tactical missions. This adaptability extends across various climates by ventilating in hot conditions and insulating in cooler ones. The boot effectively has its own microclimate, making it more comfortable for longer, especially when combined with leather uppers to offer maximum breathability.

LOWA Desert Elite Military Boots

By pairing Cambrelle® lining with suede leather and Cordura blend uppers, it is an ideal choice for heavy-duty desert environments by protecting the wearer from sweat, odour and the build-up of bacteria. The LOWA Desert Elite Coyote OP Combat Boots have been designed to offer maximum protection and comfort from the inside out. The rubber Vibram MVS soles offer support with a roll-off motion that feels naturally comfortable which, when paired with the moisture management properties of Cambrelle® lining, allows for continuous long-term use.
LOWA Patrol Tactical Boots
An integral part of the Task Force Collection, the LOWA Military and Police Patrol Boots are hard wearing, strong and versatile, perfect for those tough missions. Cambrelle® lining insulates during colder climates and ventilates in hot and humid conditions, allowing for comfortable use in any environment. This is enhanced by the full grain leather upper, making the range highly breathable and comfortable for long periods of time. Available in Black and Brown, these LOWA boots are suited to both military or police use.
LOWA Super Camp 2 Boots
Soon to be discontinued, the LOWA Super Camp 2 Boots have been designed specifically for environments where moisture is prominent. This is through the use of two different materials in the lining. The front half of the boot features a leather lining, which is where most perspiration takes place but with less friction. The back half of the boot is made up of Cambrelle® lining, which can handle the extra abrasion of the heel area whilst still working to keep the wearer cool and dry in all weather conditions.
