“I have owned a pair of Lowa Combat boots for about a year now and I would have never believed the difference between issue boots and Lowas. I went for the Lowa Combats because they are slightly higher than the normal Lowas. From the 1st second they went onto my feet it was almost like slipping into ski-boots, after a little while they started bedding in to my feet. The support at the achilles tendon area is unreal, unlike issue or most other boots the support at the back of the boot goes soft after its bedded in which causes friction and therefore blisters on the heel area, I did a CFT last year in issue boots and came back to 2 hours of popping blisters, so I was a little concerned when the next CFT came up and this time wearing the Lowa Combats. The CFT was a breeze with these boots on and I felt as if I could do it all again my feet were so comfortable. So if I can give one bit of advice in buying kit, the LOWA COMBAT is a must....”
